EHS Training Specialist

Job Description:
The EHS Training Specialist is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of effective EHS training programs. This individual will collaborate closely with the safety team members and the entire organization to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring personal safety and the safety of team members through proactive promotion of The McWane Way principles.
- Providing services that require excellent presentation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Creating and delivering hands-on, instructor-led, and virtual training sessions for groups of various sizes and backgrounds, focused on EHS impact.
- Maintaining Safety Documentation in compliance with M&H Valves document retention requirements.
- Coordinating industrial equipment to perform for hands-on demonstrations and evaluations.
Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- One-year experience in safety engineering or management in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety standards and regulations.
- Solid computer experience, including proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Compensation and Benefits:
This position offers an estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
