Medical Engineer for Innovative Device Development

Job Description:The successful candidate will provide mechanical engineering leadership within our high-performing R&D team, focusing on the development of electro-mechanical systems in early-stage development. Key responsibilities include leading mechanical design/test activities and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive projects forward.
Key Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Biomedical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, stress analysis, material selection, and CAD tools such as Solidworks
- Strong familiarity with component and assembly design, configuration management databases, and mechanical requirements
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines and drive towards milestones
- Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Biomedical Engineering
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, 14971, and GD&T
- Experience in developing capital equipment design, designing for biocompatibility, and reliability testing
