About the Role

We seek a Medical Device Design Engineer to join our team in New Hope. As a Product Application Engineer, you will lead new product design engineering and business development responsibilities with technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and present conceptual product designs and proposals, facilitating quick turn quotes, defining new custom product requirements, and managing customer expectations from initiation to product delivery.
  • Conduct customer conversations, develop products based on application and feedback received, and provide critical evaluation of costs, concept performance vs customer need, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Be a trusted engineering consultant in customer-facing situations, partnering with R&D to produce a steady stream of technical improvements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.
  • 7+ years of experience in new product development or manufacturing engineering.
  • Engineering, process development, or manufacturing experience in a cleanroom environment.
  • Familiarity with FDA, ISO 13485 regulatory and validation needs in a Tier 1 complex catheter CDMO environment.
