Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Wireless Device Hardware Engineer to join our team at DISH. As a key member of our Wireless Technology organization, you will play a critical role in designing and developing cutting-edge wireless devices that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership for RF OTA, Front End, and Power Management within our Device/Network organization.
  • Device Requirements and Test Plans: Create and manage 5G device requirements, test plans, and features for Antenna and Battery performance.
  • Compact Antenna Solutions: Design, test, optimize, and implement compact antenna solutions for 5G Cellular, WLAN, Bluetooth, and IEEE 802.15.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory processes (FCC, PTCRB, CTIA, GCF) and Device certification for RF OTA (TRP/TIS) and SAR.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with third-party testing vendors, OEMs, Network Engineering, and Roaming partners to align device/network performance with our objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Telecommunications Engineering (Masters or PhD preferred).
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in the wireless telecom industry with a service provider and/or device OEM in antenna and RF Circuit design/simulation.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong knowledge of device requirements, test plans, and end-to-end solutions for 4G/5G architecture across RAN and Core networks.
