Staff Program Manager - Device Certification
Company Overview:DISH Network, a leading provider of connectivity solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Staff Program Manager to lead our device certification efforts. Job Summary:We are looking for a seasoned program manager to spearhead the planning, execution, and delivery of device engineering projects and product lines. As a key member of our Wireless Technology organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of new solutions and products through robust project planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and execute device and solution engineering projects to ensure successful delivery
- Guide project and leadership team meetings to ensure effective communication with stakeholders and collaboration with DISH teams
- Oversee project timelines and handle certification requests and work orders efficiently
- Update project plans and reporting dashboards weekly with Product and Project Managers
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Project Managers, fostering collaboration and excellence
- Manage certification device tracking, SIM card inventory, and asset management systems
- Bachelor's or Master's in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field of study
- 8+ years of experience in testing mobile devices and project management preferred
- Skilled in wireless device certification tools and processes
- Proficient in managing wireless industry projects and product lines, including 5G network product certification
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- PMP certification or equivalent project management expertise
