Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Device Engineer to join our Wireless Technology team at DISH Network L.L.C. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing solutions for 5G cellular, WLAN, Bluetooth, and IEEE 802.15 technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with OEMs and Product Managers to analyze, research, and document technical requirements for new product features.
  • Develop Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), Device Requirements, and Test Plans.
  • Provide technical expertise in wireless technologies, including IMS, 5G, LTE, 3G, VoLTE, and WiFi Calling.
  • Design and analyze E2E call flows, including handover support across EPS, 5GC, VoNR, EPS Fallback, and N3IWF/ATSS/ANDSP.
  • Collaborate with Product Manager, Core, IT, and RAN Engineering teams to understand the Enterprise Device roadmap and its impact on network systems.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, system design, and product development for smartphones, feature phones, tablets, hotspots, and IOT devices.
  • 2+ years of experience in cellular product network certification on network-specific configurations.
  • Experience with ACS and MDM systems, data models like TR-69, TR-369, TR-181, and testing tools like QXDM, QCAT, PCAT, Accuver (XCAL/XCAP).
  • Knowledge in Test Automation and Scripting skills using Python and Command-line.
