Position Summary:
This role is primarily based at our facility, focusing on driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate teams in executing performance enhancement and workflow optimization sessions utilizing appropriate analytical and facilitation methodologies.
  • Enhance operational processes through established improvement frameworks such as Lean, Six Sigma, and collaborative problem-solving strategies.
  • Support the collection and presentation of data analysis outcomes while developing standardized procedures within various operational areas.
  • Lead the A3/IMPRV methodology and design rapid process improvement workshops (RPIWs), ensuring comprehensive project scope and performance evaluation.
  • Employ statistical analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab) to identify trends, root causes, and areas for process enhancement.
  • Assist leadership in understanding and evaluating the implementation of our Value Delivery System, promoting a culture of high reliability and ongoing improvement.
  • Assess current organizational and process performance through diverse qualitative and quantitative techniques, including user interviews, workshops, surveys, and observational studies.
  • Create process maps for existing and future state workflows using suitable techniques and software.
  • Conduct training on Lean methodologies and management principles, covering topics such as change management and team engagement, while mentoring leaders in their Lean leadership journey.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Preferred training in Lean or Toyota Production System, to be completed within the first year.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification is preferred.
  • Experience of 2-4 years in facilitating process improvement initiatives and acting as a change agent.
  • Hands-on experience with process improvement methodologies at an organizational level.
  • Training in continuous quality improvement and process management.
  • Experience in instructing and teaching process improvement concepts.

  • Proven leadership and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to apply structured continuous improvement and change management techniques effectively.
  • Proficient in meeting deadlines and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Capability to influence and coach individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Strong presentation skills for communicating findings and recommendations to various stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptable to change and collaborative teamwork.
