Job Overview
CSL Plasma is a leading collector of human plasma, helping individuals with rare and serious diseases live normal lives. As a Medical Screener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of donors.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Screener. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting donors, conducting registration procedures, and verifying donor suitability for plasma pheresis. Your primary goal will be to ensure that every donor has a safe and successful experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet donors and conduct registration procedures
- Verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis
- Conduct health screening procedures, including blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature checks
- Perform finger sticks to obtain hematocrit and total protein levels
- Educate new donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma
- Register applicants and transfer donors based on operational needs
- Answer phone calls and respond to donor inquiries
- Maintain alertness and awareness during the pheresis process
- Alert Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 3 months' experience in a clerical or customer service position preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Must be able to see and speak with customers, observe equipment operation, reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing specific tasks or in certain areas

Working Conditions
- Frequently exposed to hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures, and blood-borne pathogens
- Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Must be able to work overtime and extended hours to support center operational needs
- May require bilingual skills depending on the organization's needs
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
