Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Assistant Clinical Trainer to join our team at the North Carolina Community Health Center Association. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing clinical training to students in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with students and staff from diverse backgrounds. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical assisting principles and practices, as well as experience in teaching and mentoring.

Main Responsibilities
- Participate in a comprehensive preceptor orientation program to ensure a smooth transition into your new role
- Coordinate and instruct assigned students in hands-on training at designated locations and times
- Teach specified hands-on training sessions in the medical assistant curriculum, ensuring that students gain the knowledge and skills required for entry-level employment in the field
- Supervise students' performance of skills and other MA activities to assure safe practice and provide constructive feedback for improvement
- Collaborate with the Work-Based Learning and Apprenticeship Director to review students' progress toward meeting clinical learning objectives and develop strategies for success
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, staff, and healthcare professionals to ensure a positive and productive learning environment

Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant or LPN degree, licensed in North Carolina
- Five years of related occupational experience, preferably in ambulatory care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students and staff from diverse backgrounds
- Strong understanding of medical assisting principles and practices, as well as experience in teaching and mentoring
- Ability to travel out-of-town and overnight as needed, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Location
