Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Program Manager to join our team at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF). The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and assisting with programmatic initiatives and deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in communications, management, social science, public policy, political science, or a related field, and 1-2 years of event programming or related work experience. Strong organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and general knowledge of the federal legislative and regulatory processes are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the CPAR team, including preparing and sending event invitations, speaker coordination, and taking meeting minutes.
  • Assist with preparing, formatting, and distributing publications such as news releases, reports, letters, infographics, briefing papers, op-eds, and web content.
  • Develop visual materials to be used in program execution and marketing, both in coordination with the Marketing & Communications team and through independent creation.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in communications, management, social science, public policy, political science, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of event programming or related work experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • General knowledge of the federal legislative and regulatory processes.

Salary Range:$60,000 - $80,000 per year
