About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Representative to join our team at Central Maine Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepares for clinic visits by reviewing next day patients and completing next day preparation activities.
  • Maintains private physician office charts.
  • Checks-in patient upon arrival in the practice, verifying patient demographic data and presenting required forms for signature.
  • Collects and posts payments and balances on accounts, completing daily reconciliation of cash and appointment charges.
  • Schedules tests and procedures, completes and distributes ancillary service requisitions, and checks-out patients.
  • Communicates with patients and staff using advanced communication tools, including phone call handling, emails, faxes, and online chats.
