Job Opportunity

Spurwink Services is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our team of dedicated professionals providing integrated behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment for adults in the Bridgton community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and medication management services to clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Conduct in-person visits with clients in various settings, including community, hospitals, and care facilities.
  • Facilitate treatment and education groups to promote client recovery and well-being.
  • Collaborate with community providers to advocate on behalf of clients and ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Baccalaureate Nursing Program and completion of an accredited graduate or certificate advanced practice education program.
  • Current Maine Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse Licensure, and national certification as a certified mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
  • Current Drug Enforcement Certification and willingness to obtain an X waiver.
