We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Representative to join our team at Central Maine Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate daily clinic preparation and patient identification processes
- Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures, including verifying demographic data and obtaining signatures as required
- Collect and post payments, reconcile cash and appointment charges, and follow established procedures
- Schedule appointments and tests, and distribute ancillary service requisitions
- Communicate with patients and staff through various channels, including phone, email, and online scheduling applications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum one year of experience in patient-facing roles, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Prior medical office experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with data entry and keyboarding
