Job Summary:

The Southcentral Foundation is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will be responsible for providing direct care to customer-owners in a residential behavioral health setting. This role requires a strong understanding of behavioral health principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide direct care to customer-owners in a residential behavioral health setting
* Facilitate skill development and support customer-owner care
* Ensure a safe and supportive treatment environment
* Provide supervision of customer-owners to meet State of Alaska Licensing regulations

Requirements:

* Three (3) years of experience working in a behavioral health setting; OR a combination of education and experience with major course work and experience in Counseling, Psychology, and/or Social Sciences
* At least twenty-one (21) years of age
* Valid Alaska driver's license that meets State of Alaska Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) license requirements

Additional Qualifications:

* Two (2) additional years of professional and supervised social service or related work experience working in a residential behavioral health setting; OR equivalent combination of education and experience; OR demonstrated proficiency as a Behavioral Health Technician I at SCF
