About Us:

Biogen is a global biotechnology company dedicated to delivering life-changing medicines. We are seeking an experienced Compliance Business Professional to support our US commercial business in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise US commercial leadership on compliance risk management and participate in US Compliance Committees and management meetings.
  • Design and implement risk-based compliance training plans and develop impactful compliance training for employees.
  • Conduct annual risk assessments, develop monitoring plans, and provide reports on findings and trends to US leadership.
  • Leverage technology to identify areas of concern and advise on remediation execution.
  • Evaluate and maintain policies and procedures, ensuring they are current, accessible, and clearly communicated.
  • Oversee compliance-related investigations, advise on remediation, and administer corrective action.
  • Raise awareness about compliance throughout the US organization, including planning compliance 'open calls.'
  • Lead and mentor local US compliance officers, providing coaching and feedback.
  • Maintain key compliance records and manage other projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in corporate compliance within the healthcare sector.
  • Bachelor's degree required; JD strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry laws, guidelines, and codes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven track record.
  • Previous experience in people management and working effectively within a matrix organization.
  • Proficiency in managing complex projects and overseeing external vendors.
  • Demonstrated experience in utilizing new technologies to identify various categories of business risk.

We Offer:

A competitive estimated salary range of $160,000 - $220,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
