Job Summary

Aludyne is seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to lead our Quality Department in achieving excellence in quality management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing, organizing, and administering quality department programs and policies in support of the ALUDYNE Mission and Values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and Q1 certifications.
  • Conduct daily reviews of Material Review Board (MRB) and hold tag material for disposition.
  • Promptly respond to problem cases with customers, conduct 5Y or 8D analysis, and drive to implement permanent corrective actions.
  • Review customer scorecards on a monthly frequency to determine targeted improvements with action plans.
  • Manage and administer Plex databases, including layered audits and corrective actions.
  • Stimulate and maintain employee interest in quality control through displays of scrapped parts, posters, etc.
  • Chair the Corrective Action system to investigate customer complaints, product failures, etc.
  • Oversee the development of all inspection procedures and tests for receiving in-process and finished product inspections.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Core Quality Tools - Control Plan, APQP, PPAP, MSA, PFMEA & SPC.
  • Certified Quality Auditor and Certified Quality Engineer certificates or actively working toward them.
  • Lean Manufacturing Certification or training, experience with implementation of Lean Philosophies and Methods, Six Sigma, Problem Solving Training or related experience.
Additional Competencies
  • Lean Manufacturing Knowledge: Standardized Work, Takt Time, VSM, 5S, Waste Training.
  • Problem Solving: APS, Six Sigma, 5 Why training and event leadership, 8D, Plex reports: understanding information and resources.
