CNC Machinist

Aerotek is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and drill presses. You will also be responsible for setting up and operating manual machines, as well as performing basic equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and drill presses
• Set up and operate manual machines
• Perform basic equipment maintenance
• Achieve production, quality, and safety standards
• Communicate with co-workers, management, and clients in a courteous and professional manner

Requirements:

• 2+ years of CNC experience
• 2+ years of reading and interpreting complex blueprints
• 2+ years of using calipers, micrometers, or other precision measuring instruments

Work Environment:

This job operates in a manufacturing shop environment. Exposure to noise, chemicals, and materials consistent with a manufacturing environment is constant. This is a physically demanding position; maintaining the physical strength to lift materials up to 50 pounds, endure prolonged standing, dexterity, and stamina is necessary.
