Job Title: Janitorial Account Manager

At Southern Cleaning Services, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Janitorial Account Manager to oversee a number of customer accounts and manage multiple job sites within the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure all company standards and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive growth and revenue
  • Manage budgets and financial compliance to ensure profitability
  • Oversee and manage site management project teams and site personnel
  • Perform routine facility inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Drive site safety policy and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Interview, hire, and train new employees to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce
  • Resolve and respond to employee and customer issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Purchase, issue, and order necessary supplies and equipment to ensure efficient operations
  • Ensure all equipment is in good operating condition and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Assign tasks to workers and inspect completed work for conformance to standards
  • Oversee and follow-up on safety requirements with new employees, including site-specific training
  • Record employee hours worked or supervise time-keeping to ensure accurate payroll
  • Perform duties of workers as needed to ensure efficient operations
  • Conduct site inspections and provide updated monthly reports to customers on the condition of the buildings
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years of supervisory/management experience or a degree from a 4-year college or 2-year technical institute
  • Associates degree with technical training in plant engineering or factory/plant maintenance, Bachelor's preferred
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience and responsibility in a maintenance field, with two years holding a supervisory position directing a multi-functional maintenance staff
  • Strong mechanical aptitudes and a working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Excellent trouble-shooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly
  • Familiarity with all current health and safety regulations
  • Strong supervisory skills, coupled with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well with ever-changing priorities and situations
  • Self-starter who can work well with people at all levels, both in and out of the plant

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

The employee may be exposed to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including AIDS and Hepatitis B Virus.

The noise level is usually moderate.
