Maintenance Controls Technician

Join Syntricate Technologies as a key member of our Maintenance Team, where you will play a crucial role in delivering solutions to improve process reliability, product quality, and plant-wide performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult technical documentation, including schematics, manuals, standards, and codes, to ensure accurate and efficient maintenance.
  • Maintain backup and revision documentation for control systems and instrumentation, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Manage SCADA devices in an industrial environment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Install, configure, calibrate, and maintain control, measurement, and indicating instrumentation, including pneumatic, analog, and digital systems.
  • Configure and program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs), ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.
  • Organize and order PLC control components to maintain plant process control systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with corporate IT staff on network and computer activities, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruptions.
  • Prepare technical reports to document issues, changes, and equipment modifications, ensuring accurate and transparent record-keeping.
  • Manage projects for implementing changes and improvements, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruptions.
  • Be available on-call to support production needs, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of issues.
  • Install and terminate electrical, pneumatic, and fluid connections, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Inspect and test instruments and systems to diagnose faults, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of issues.
  • Remove, repair, adjust, and replace components, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Calibrate components and systems, ensuring accurate and efficient operations.
  • Assist engineering in plant design, modification, and hazard analysis, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Maintain various computer-based control systems, ensuring seamless operations and minimal disruptions.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance programs, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with advances in technology, ensuring Syntricate Technologies remains at the forefront of industrial automation.

As a Maintenance Controls Technician, you will work with a range of instruments, including transmitters, analyzers, sensors, detectors, signal conditioners, recorders, controllers, and final control elements. These instruments measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, level, motion, force, and chemical composition.

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
