Maintenance Controls Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Controls Technician to join our team at Fast Lane Recruitment Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting control systems, instrumentation, and electrical equipment in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Consult technical documentation and diagrams to troubleshoot and maintain control systems and instrumentation.
- Manage backup and revision documentation for control systems and instrumentation.
- Configure and program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs).
- Install, configure, calibrate, and maintain control, measurement, and indicating instrumentation.
- Organize and order PLC control components to maintain plant process control systems.
- Work with corporate IT staff on network and computer activities.
- Prepare technical reports for documenting issues and changes to equipment.
- Manage projects for implementing changes and improvements.
- Be on call to support production needs.
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- At least 2 years of related experience required.
- Proven experience in PLC logic and programming with Allen Bradley PLCs and other types of controllers.
- Electrical experience.
- Ability to create and read logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, simulation, and testing.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
