Senior Client Relations Manager, Commercial Insurance

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a designated portfolio of clients generating $800k (or more) in revenue.
  • Manage renewals, new business opportunities, cancellations, audits, and endorsement requests.
  • Assign tasks related to cancellations, audits, and endorsements to appropriate team members.
  • Issue invoices for policies, audits, endorsements, and cancellations as necessary.
  • Ensure the accuracy of your work and that of team members supporting you.
  • Track the issuance of certificates of insurance.
  • Develop guidelines for certificate issuance.
  • Maintain an updated renewal list.
  • Market renewal policies effectively.
  • Negotiate coverage terms and premiums with insurance carriers.
  • Provide producers with comprehensive renewal proposals.
  • Conduct final reviews of policies to ensure appropriate coverage.
  • Address or escalate inquiries from insured clients and underwriters.
  • Support producers, accounting teams, and clients in reconciling client accounts.
  • Facilitate account rounding initiatives.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5-7+ years of proven experience in a Client Manager, Account Manager, or similar role within the Property & Casualty brokerage sector.
  • Possession of a Property & Casualty Insurance License is mandatory.
  • CISR/CIC designation or other advanced certifications are preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with the renewal cycle and related processes.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Accountability and personal responsibility for the assigned portfolio.
  • Ability to cultivate and enhance professional relationships with clients.
