The role involves performing various mailroom duties, including:

  • Identifying and processing incoming mail
  • Imaging and preparing outgoing correspondence
  • Handling print production tasks
  • Providing reception coverage during breaks and lunches

This position does not require extensive physical activity, with minimal lifting involved, typically not exceeding 35 lbs. Assistance will be provided if heavier items need to be handled. Driving is not a requirement for this role.

Dress Code: Business casual attire is expected.

Parking: Complimentary parking is available.

Work Schedule: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Type: Temporary position.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Operating high-volume duplicating and document scanning equipment
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail and faxes
  • Applying necessary postage and maintaining shipping records
  • Performing routine maintenance on office equipment
  • Assisting with bindery, quality control, and final checks
  • Providing customer service and responding to inquiries regarding job requests
  • Maintaining organized records for management reports and inventory

Additional duties may include:

  • Delivering completed jobs to designated locations
  • Using various office equipment such as calculators, fax machines, and postage meters
  • Performing filing duties, including archiving documents
Qualifications

Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience is required.

Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and basic computer skills are essential. Strong customer service and organizational skills are necessary.

Work Environment

The position is primarily based in an office setting with adequate lighting and ventilation. Candidates should be prepared for a diverse range of tasks that may require physical effort, including standing, walking, and lifting items up to 50-55 lbs.
