Position Overview:

As a Customer Service Representative at Motion & Flow Control Products, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between our clients and various departments. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to contribute to a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle incoming requests for price quotes, purchase orders, and order modifications from customers, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, striving to deliver exceptional service at all times.
  • Support the Outside Sales Team by providing necessary information and assistance.
  • Utilize our ERP systems to access customer data, monitor stock levels, and manage purchase orders efficiently.
  • Track inquiries, quotes, and orders, collaborating with suppliers and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and promptly forwarded to customers.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding technical, pricing, and delivery inquiries.
  • Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and effective communication skills.
  • Assist in resolving payment and credit issues with the accounts receivable team.
  • Contribute to the management of supplier relationships to enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service, addressing and resolving complaints creatively and positively.
  • Generate and maintain accurate documentation, including quotes and order details.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
  • Propose improvements to enhance customer service and operational procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on relationship building.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willing to learn new software applications.
  • Ability to listen effectively and learn quickly, with a focus on accuracy.
  • Experience in distribution and familiarity with product lines is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse personalities.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Previous experience in customer service or related fields is preferred.
Work Environment:
