Job Title: CAD Designer - Transportation Infrastructure

We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join our transportation team. As a CAD Designer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality designs and models for transportation infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce civil drawings and 3D models using Bentley InRoads/OpenRoads and Autodesk AutoCAD Civil3D.
  • Organize and maintain digital file databases for each project using Bentley ProjectWise software.
  • Use knowledge of tools and drafting to complete assigned tasks, including 2D and 3D model development, design changes, general arrangement drawing production, redlining, plotting, and drafting using CAD platforms.
  • Facilitate and ensure the quality of drawings and graphic work produced for the team.
  • Communicate with other team members during 3D model and plan production.
  • Understand ProjectWise file structures and modifications to files for exchanges with other team members.
  • Creation of roadway alignments, profiles, templates, and corridors.
  • CAD surface and digital terrain modeling.
  • Ensure CAD standards and styles, quality assurance, and quality control procedures are followed during drawing planning and production.
  • Work to meet project schedules.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with civil infrastructure projects, particularly roadway, utility, and rail projects.
  • Proficiency in Bentley InRoads/Open Roads.
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a team player approach to design and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work within a team, sharing workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products.
Education and Experience:
  • Associates or Technical Degree.
  • 5 years of CAD experience.

This is a full-time position with flexible working arrangements, including remote, hybrid, or in-office options. The typical office environment involves working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
