Position Overview:

We are in search of a dedicated Assistant Community Director for our vibrant active adult community. In this role, you will assist the Community Director in managing the overall operations of the community. Your responsibilities will include providing administrative support for financial documentation and maintaining resident records while aiding in leasing, marketing, and resident engagement.

  • Foster a community atmosphere that enhances residents' quality of life through exceptional customer service and a nurturing environment.
  • Oversee property operations in the absence of the Community Director.
  • Assist in property management tasks by preparing weekly reports, move-out documentation, and month-end summaries.
  • Handle daily financial transactions, including collecting and processing rent payments and fees.
  • Review resident accounts and financial records to identify outstanding payments.
  • Maintain comprehensive records, including leasing documents, liability insurance, and resident activities.
  • Support the sales team by welcoming prospective residents, gathering lead information, showcasing apartment homes, and securing lease deposits.
  • Facilitate the leasing and renewal process by ensuring accurate applications and organized records.
  • Assist with conducting credit and background checks.
  • Ensure all applications are fully approved prior to resident move-in.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to understand current initiatives.
  • Research local market conditions and competition.
  • Conduct orientation sessions for new residents.
  • Engage in resident-led events and activities.
  • Regularly inspect the property and report any maintenance issues to the Community Director.
  • Assist residents in reporting maintenance requests.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Comply with Fair Housing regulations.

Qualifications:

We seek a professional, relationship-oriented Assistant Community Director who can effectively collaborate with the site team to manage daily community operations while building strong relationships with residents.

  • Team-oriented with a focus on collaboration and relationship-building.
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and determined.
  • Previous experience in multifamily property management is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills; proficiency in English is required.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office, Google Suite, property management software, and CRM solutions.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.
