Position: Lead Angular Software Engineer
Location: Remote - Hybrid
Duration: 10 Months with potential for extension

Overview:
We are looking for a skilled software developer with expertise in Angular and Spring Boot to spearhead software development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership in the analysis, design, development, integration, testing, and enhancement of software applications or middleware.
  • Engage in researching, troubleshooting, and resolving complex support challenges.
  • Collaborate in the project planning process with clients, business analysts, architects, and team members.
  • Track project milestones and critical deadlines to identify potential scheduling risks.
  • Develop strategies to address scheduling challenges.
  • Keep management informed about project progress and status.
  • Lead the technical evaluation and selection process for software or middleware solutions.
  • Facilitate communication and training necessary for the successful adoption of selected tools or software.
  • Contribute to buy vs. build recommendations.
  • Investigate the feasibility or availability of custom, open-source, and commercial solution alternatives.
  • Provide insights on system options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impacts on business processes and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Technology Office and architects to ensure alignment with long-term IT strategies.
  • Contribute to business cases and assist in procurement activities for purchasing decisions.
  • Proactively assess existing applications to identify weaknesses and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Initiate the identification, analysis, implementation, communication, and adoption of technical process improvements to benefit the team.
  • Recognize potential for streamlining or automating existing processes, evaluate the value of new approaches to application implementations, and propose changes to address existing issues.
  • Support any change management required for implemented process improvements.
Experience:
  • Advanced professional level, working on major projects as a lead developer, providing subject matter expertise and technical guidance.
  • Involvement in projects of higher complexity or risk that span a broad range of systems or technologies, potentially impacting the entire system.
  • Expertise in multiple technical environments and a heightened level of business knowledge.
  • Advanced understanding, implementation, and usage of specific software platforms, languages, and frameworks.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Programming/systems analysis experience: Required 5 Years
  • Demonstrated project experience using Angular (9+): Required 3 Years
  • Demonstrated project experience with Java: Required 3 Years
  • Demonstrated project experience using Spring Boot: Required 3 Years
  • Demonstrated project experience working with JavaScript and TypeScript: Required 3 Years
  • Demonstrated project experience with responsive and adaptive UI/UX design or development and supporting technologies (HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, etc.): Required 3 Years
  • Experience working with an RDBMS such as Oracle or PostgreSQL: Required 3 Years
  • Experience with RESTful Web Services or APIs and supporting tools (Postman, Swagger, JMeter, etc.): Required 3 Years
  • Experience with data exchange/serialization languages, formats, or technologies (JSON, YAML, XML, etc.): Required 3 Years
