KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your responsibilities will extend beyond application development and may include:
- Participation in component and data architecture design.
- Technology planning and product evaluation.
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
- Conducting advanced testing processes and making buy vs. build recommendations.
Software engineers will also leverage various middleware solutions to develop integrated applications that unify existing systems, databases, web interfaces, and hardware logic to meet evolving enterprise requirements.
Professionals in this role should possess a strong command of the programming languages utilized by the organization and may have experience with object-oriented design principles in coding and debugging.
WORK COMPLEXITY:
This position operates at an advanced professional level, managing significant projects as a lead developer while providing subject matter expertise and technical guidance. You will work on projects of considerable complexity or risk that may have a broad impact across systems or technologies.
Advanced knowledge of multiple technical environments and a heightened understanding of business processes are essential. You will be expected to demonstrate a thorough understanding of specific software platforms, languages, and frameworks.

As a lead developer, you will:
- Consult with clients, business analysts, architects, and team members during the project planning phase.
- Monitor project milestones and critical deadlines to identify potential risks.
- Keep management informed of project status and progress.
- Lead the evaluation and selection process for software or middleware solutions.
- Facilitate communication and training necessary for the successful adoption of new tools or software.
Additionally, you will analyze existing applications to pinpoint weaknesses and identify opportunities for enhancements, potentially initiating process improvements that streamline operations or automate existing workflows.
EDUCATION:
A Bachelor's Degree is required for this position.
