Position Summary:

The role of the Angular Developer involves collaborating closely with clients, business analysts, and team members to grasp the business requirements that inform the analysis, design, and development of high-quality technical solutions. These solutions must align with the strategies of the Georgia Technology Authority (GTA) and State Agency IT, ensuring compliance with the organization's architectural standards.

As a Software Developer, you will engage in the complete systems life cycle, taking responsibility for the design, coding, testing, implementation, and support of applications, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints. Your responsibilities may extend beyond application development to include participation in component and data architecture design, technology planning, product evaluation, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership in the analysis, design, development, integration, testing, and enhancement of software applications or middleware.
  • Engage in the project planning process with clients, business analysts, architects, and team members.
  • Monitor project milestones and critical dates to identify potential schedule risks and propose solutions.
  • Lead the technical evaluation and selection process for software or middleware packages.
  • Conduct feasibility research for custom, open-source, and commercial solutions, providing input on system options, risks, costs, and impacts on business processes.
  • Analyze existing applications to identify weaknesses and develop improvement opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience in programming and systems analysis.
  • Proven project experience using Angular (9+).
  • Demonstrated experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Experience in responsive and adaptive UI/UX design or development, including supporting technologies (HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, etc.).
  • Familiarity with RDBMS such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with RESTful Web Services or APIs and related tools (Postman, Swagger, JMeter, etc.).
  • Knowledge of data exchange/serialization languages and formats (JSON, YAML, XML, etc.).
