Position Type: Part-Time with additional hours available as needed

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM & 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM

Program Focus: Transportation Services

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe and comfortable transit for individuals with developmental disabilities to and from various programs. Must be able to fulfill all essential tasks.

- Capable of reading and writing routine documentation and effectively communicating with service recipients, their families, and staff members.

- Must be able to bend, kneel, and manage wheelchair restraints for safe transportation, including seat belts and harnesses.

- Execute all other necessary duties as assigned by the Transportation/Facilities Director. Drivers will receive training on multiple routes and may be reassigned as needed.

Qualifications:
Must possess a valid NYS Driver's License. Must comply with Lifetime Assistance's VEHICLE OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS. Successful completion of all required training, including but not limited to First Aid/CPR and C-PAT (Challenging Passenger Assistance Techniques), is mandatory. Must be able to lift, move, and transfer up to 50 pounds. Must meet all VEHICLE OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS.
