Job Summary

As an Armored Driver Guard with Loomis, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and secure transportation of cash, coins, and valuables. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive armored vehicles on designated routes, servicing customer locations and ensuring the secure transportation of cash and valuables.
  • Service ATMs and Smart Safes, as well as customer stops, including delivering change orders and picking up deposits.
  • Load and unload vehicle cargo, including multiple bags and boxes of coins, and count items, record, and sign for cargo items.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including maintaining accurate records and reporting any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • At least 21 years of age and a valid driver's license.
  • At least 3 years of driving experience and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to obtain a Medical Examiners Certificate via a US Department of Transportation approved medical examiner.
  • A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms requirements may be required.
Working Conditions
  • Full-time schedule with an average of 50 hours/week, minimum of 5 days anytime during a 6-day period.
  • Approximately 90-95 percent of work performed in a vehicle within individual compartments (front and rear).
