Job Summary:

The Mobile Stroke Transport Unit Specialist is a critical care RN who functions as a member of a multi-disciplinary team in the pre-hospital setting to expedite the care of patients with suspected stroke.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to suspected stroke calls in the community as part of an emergency medical response team
  • Perform NIH stroke scale and communicate with stroke physician via telemedicine
  • Administer medications as prescribed
  • Participate in equipment maintenance, quality improvement reviews, and ongoing program development

Requirements:

  • Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program
  • Active New York State RN license in good standing
  • Minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience

What We Offer:

Per diem position available, D/E/N, weekends as needed, primarily days
