Job Overview:


The Financial Operations Specialist will oversee a variety of financial tasks, encompassing accounts payable and receivable, payroll management, and the preparation of financial statements.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in finance, exceptional organizational abilities, and familiarity with the agricultural sector.

Primary Duties:
Administer accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring prompt and precise payments and collections.

Conduct bank reconciliations and supervise cash flow to guarantee sufficient liquidity for business activities.

Execute payroll processing, including the calculation of wages, taxes, and deductions, ensuring timely payment of salaries.

Maintain precise financial records and ensure adherence to organizational policies and accounting standards.

Document financial transactions in the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.

Produce financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for management analysis.

Assist in the formulation of budgets and financial projections.

Review and reconcile expense reports and credit card statements.

Facilitate month-end and year-end closing activities, including the preparation of journal entries and account adjustments.

Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and financial data.

Keep organized and current financial records and documentation.

Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in finance and bookkeeping.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is preferred.


A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Financial Operations Specialist or in a comparable financial role, ideally within the agricultural sector.

Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.

Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

High level of accuracy and integrity in financial documentation.
