Intuitive Machines LLC is seeking a highly skilled Avionics Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Avionics team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and testing avionics systems for our lunar landers, lunar terrain vehicles, and other space technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop avionics systems, including flight computers, communication systems, navigation systems, and power distribution units.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define avionics system requirements and specifications.
- Integrate avionics systems and flight harnesses with other spacecraft subsystems, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
- Conduct system-level testing and validation to verify the functionality and reliability of avionics systems under various operating conditions.
- Perform electrical analysis and simulations to evaluate avionics system performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in avionics engineering, preferably in the space or aerospace industry.
- Proven experience with avionics system design, flight harness design, analysis, and testing for space or flight vehicles.
- Proficiency in electrical design and simulation software (e.g., Altium, MATLAB/Simulink).
