Job Title: Avionics Technician

Job Summary:

FEAM Aero is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join our team in Houston, TX. As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for performing line maintenance and troubleshooting on various aircraft systems, including avionics and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform line maintenance and troubleshooting on avionics and electrical systems
  • Inspect and maintain aircraft systems to ensure airworthiness
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions on aircraft avionics components and electrical systems
  • Collaborate with air carrier's maintenance control center as required
  • Participate in on-the-job training with onsite personnel

Requirements:

  • Current valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License
  • 2+ years' experience in recent line maintenance, emphasis on troubleshooting, daily and turn checks
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, and utilize hand and finger dexterity
  • Ability to frequently lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Must pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aircraft technician with B747, B767, and 737 NG experience
  • Highly skilled in aircraft avionics components and electrical systems
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Customer-facing skills, ability to work with the flight crew and interact in a professional manner
