Position Overview

Are you interested in taking on the role of Territory Manager at Urban Effects Cabinetry? In this position, you will have the opportunity to enhance sales within your designated territory. Your key responsibilities will involve establishing and nurturing relationships with distributor accounts to facilitate future sales expansion. The Territory Manager will serve as the main liaison for key stakeholders, including executives, purchasing agents, sales teams, design professionals, and finance personnel within client organizations.

The ideal candidate should possess a background in selling cabinetry and related products, demonstrate a high degree of independence, and be prepared to travel overnight approximately 50% of the time. Strong relationship-building skills through effective communication are essential for success in this role.

This remote position is designed for individuals based in the region. We offer mileage reimbursement, a laptop, and a mobile phone, with a competitive salary range starting from $92k to $107k, plus commission opportunities based on your performance in the territory. Compensation may vary based on qualifications and other relevant factors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a strategic business plan for market and channel growth
  • Build and maintain key relationships with distributors, dealers, and builders
  • Address escalated concerns from customer accounts
  • Collaborate on pricing strategies and product innovations
  • Provide training to customers on products and services
  • Implement marketing and promotional initiatives
  • Resolve service-related issues in a timely manner
  • Complete administrative tasks efficiently
  • Maintain an organized customer database
  • Participate in trade shows as necessary

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of direct sales experience in the cabinetry or building products industry
  • Experience working with distributors, dealers, and builders
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field
  • Experience in multi-step distribution channels and sales forecasting
