About this Position

Primerica is seeking a highly skilled Revenue Accounting and Valuation Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Senior Health segment, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial valuation models, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, and coordinating goodwill impairment analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial valuation models for the Senior Health segment, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and compliance with ASC 606.
  • Coordinate goodwill impairment analysis, including developing per unit lifetime value of commissions estimates and cash collection schedules.
  • Prepare amortization entries for intangible assets and monitor asset balances for triggering events.
  • Research and develop revenue recognition accounting policies for new or modified contracts with customers.
  • Assist in the preparation of revenue disclosures in financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Science, or related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in financial valuation and/or revenue recognition concepts.
  • Experience with SOX 404 internal controls, including data validation and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in data analytical tools, including Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Ability to understand data elements used by algorithmic models.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA certification.
