Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading provider of integrated technology solutions for K-12 and higher education, acute care, senior living, and business campuses.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare monthly financial reports for management and provide explanations of fluctuations and trends
* Research and provide answers for questions from management
* Assist with sales order and revenue plan preparation, cost of sales calculations, and order-based gross margin analyses
* Perform month-end journal entries and open balance reconciliations as assigned
* Review sales order and purchase orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with sales order policy and procedures
* Conduct order audits to determine compliance with sales order policy and procedures
* Apply and interpret accounting policies and procedures regarding contracts and revenue recognition

Requirements

* Strong analytical and organizational skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* High level ASC606 accounting knowledge
* Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Strong customer service orientation
* Excellent ability to produce quality deliverables with high deadline sensitivity
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting
* Five or more years of experience in corporate accounting
* Experience managing and interpreting contracts preferred
* Experience with cost accounting or financial auditing preferred
