Job Title: Healthcare Audit Response Specialist

Join our esteemed organization as a Healthcare Audit Response Specialist. We are seeking a meticulous professional who will oversee all audit-related activities concerning various programs and payers, ensuring prompt evaluation of audit results and timely submission of appeals.

  • Systematically organize and manage audit documentation utilizing a third-party vendor tracking system.
  • Engage with multiple departments to ensure thorough review, appeals, and resolution of audit findings.
  • Collaborate closely with Health Information Management, Care Coordination, Revenue Integrity, and other teams to gather and submit appeal responses in the specified format.
  • Examine patterns in audit requests and denials, offering insights for team training and enhancement of processes.
  • Stay informed on changes in payer requirements and integrate these updates into audit procedures.
  • Compile and deliver reports on audit activities during leadership discussions.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Revenue Cycle Management or a Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience. Licensure: No specific licensure required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires prolonged periods of sitting, occasional short-distance travel. Strong communication, auditory, and visual skills are essential; attention to detail is critical; ability to lift/push/pull as needed.
