Position Overview

Client Services Coordinator

Artistzen is a specialized Business Management firm dedicated to providing financial oversight, tax assistance, cash flow management, and insurance advisory services tailored for musicians and bands.

We are looking for a full-time Client Services Coordinator to become a vital part of our dynamic team. This role is designed for remote work, with occasional in-person meetings, necessitating a well-equipped home office. The position is structured to evolve, starting with a specific skill set and gradually expanding responsibilities as proficiency is achieved, ultimately leading to full Client Services Manager status.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable Management - Supervise and coordinate the processing of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Expense Tracking - Categorize all expenses according to project or album classifications; Manage the intake of receipts.
  • Financial Planning - Revise touring schedules using integrated Google Sheets, update QuickBooks classifications, and develop budgets that accurately reflect each client's touring activities.
  • Revenue Tracking and Reconciliation - Utilize OpenRoad software to reconcile tour financials and import data into QuickBooks.
  • Recording Management - Employ Google Sheets and pivot tables to transform raw data from distributors into actionable accounting entries.
  • Reporting - Create PDF reports for client evaluation.
  • Cash Flow Management - Maintain complex Google Sheets with multiple ongoing projects and forecast future cash flow.

Responsibility Breakdown

  • Accounts Payable - 40%

Education Requirement

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Compensation Package

  • Starting salary of $40,000 with potential to increase to $50,000 within the first 18 months based on skill mastery. Negotiable for candidates with relevant experience in accounting and the music industry.
