Job Overview

The O&T FP&A Senior Financial Analyst plays a vital role within the O&T HQ Finance team, contributing to various business sectors within Operations & Technology. This position primarily focuses on the consolidation and evaluation of the O&T Capital portfolio, which encompasses approximately $700 million in annual capital expenditures. Furthermore, this role supports the management of the OCF allocation process, collaborating with finance teams across NBCUniversal's broader brand portfolio to distribute around $1 billion in costs. Additionally, this position aids in the oversight and analysis of financial data (OCF, Headcount, Allocations) for the Global Security & EHS / BCCM divisions. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of NBCU operations through daily interactions with operational finance managers, technical support teams, and corporate finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the FP&A Manager in all facets of annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, analyzing critical metrics and trends, and summarizing findings for high-level presentations. Support the reporting and communication of allocations to internal stakeholders and NBCU Corporate. Consolidate and analyze actual versus estimated variance commentary on a monthly and quarterly basis. Facilitate monthly and quarterly closes, ensuring timely and precise reporting of financial performance. Develop and maintain planning tools for the team's use in all financial planning cycles. Provide assistance with ad hoc analyses and requests.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel (advanced skills required) and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work and communicate effectively across all organizational levels. Demonstrated capability to synthesize and encapsulate complex data and information to build financial models and presentations for senior leadership. Experience with SAP/BPC and/or Essbase. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment. High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail. Proactive problem-solving approach, including analytical and information system skills. Strong work ethic and commitment to follow-through. Hybrid Work Arrangement: This position is designated as hybrid, generally requiring in-office contributions a minimum of four days per week.
