Job Summary

As a Catering Manager with Flik Hospitality Group, you will oversee the Catering Department, ensuring seamless event execution and exceptional client satisfaction. Key responsibilities include supervising catering events, collaborating with the Chef to create menus, and training catering associates in service techniques and customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all catering events to ensure timely and efficient execution.
  • Collaborate with the Chef to develop menus that meet client expectations.
  • Train catering associates in service techniques, menu presentation, and customer service.
  • Monitor labor and food costs for each event to maintain profitability.
  • Communicate effectively with management, clients, and associates to maintain excellent client relationships.
  • Assist in the responsibility for all foodservice-related activities.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of food service experience, including 1 year at the management level.
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, healthcare, and/or related food service operations.
  • Catering experience is required.
  • Knowledge of food and catering trends, including quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
  • Financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
  • ServSafe Certification.
