Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at NorthBay Health. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices and NorthBay's professional nursing practice model.
  • Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and their families, promoting health, well-being, and empowerment.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing.
  • Nursing degree of BSN level or higher (excludes grandfathered employees).
  • Valid, current, and unencumbered RN license by the State of California.
  • Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Telemetry certification within 3 months of employment.
  • PALS or ENPC certification within six months of employment.
  • TNCC or ATCN certification within one year of employment.
  • CEN, CPEN, or TCRN certification preferred.
  • A minimum of six months acute care RN experience required.
  • One year of ED RN experience preferred.
