Key Responsibilities

· Lead and enhance the performance of the Claims Team by offering daily guidance and support, fostering a culture of coaching, constructive feedback, and direction, while incorporating positive reinforcement and recognition strategies.

· Oversee inventory levels and the aging of claims and queues to effectively allocate work on a daily basis.

  • Recruit and manage staffing levels to ensure consistent, high-quality processing.
  • Engage in strategic resource planning to optimize productivity and turnaround times.
  • Stay informed about Federal and State regulations as well as client requirements; implement necessary changes regarding claims and billing standards.
  • Design, update, and monitor performance metrics to achieve quality, timeliness, service, and productivity objectives.
  • Provide specialized knowledge and general claims support to teams in reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating, processing, and adjusting claims.
  • Identify and coordinate resources for claim re-work.
  • Analyze and identify trends, providing comprehensive reports.

· Facilitate regular meetings with staff to enhance performance, quality, and documentation practices.

· Conduct training sessions for new hires and ensure they meet required performance metrics in a timely manner.
