Claims Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a skilled Claims Team to assess client requirements and formulate strategies for comprehensive claim and service request management across the organization.
- Supervise the workflow of claims personnel, including Claims Representatives, Claims Consultants, and Claims Account Executives.
- Address complex or urgent coverage and claim matters involving agents, clients, or internal staff.
- Support the Regional Claims Leader with designated projects and initiatives.
- Enhance Truist's relationships with significant clients to uncover new business prospects.
- Collaborate with the sales team in delivering presentations aimed at expanding market presence through the provision of claim management services to potential clients.
- Assist in the development of service requests, RFPs, and client service proposals.
- Manage carrier-supplied claim adjustment services.
- Conduct projects, offer claim consulting to clients, and document case studies related to claims.
- Contribute to generating new business and maintaining existing client relationships.
- Mentor and develop team members while performing administrative duties associated with managing a claims team.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of 10 years in commercial property and casualty claims management
- Possession of an Insurance Adjuster's License
- Previous experience in brokerage
- Familiarity with case laws and claim resolution methodologies
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in delivering professional presentations and drafting technical reports
- Ongoing education in insurance claims topics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
- Experience with online research
- ARM or AIC certification
- Experience with multi-line claims
- Comprehensive understanding of insurance procedures
