Job Overview

Position Summary: We are in search of a skilled Field Technician specializing in Mechanical and Electrical systems, particularly in the maintenance and installation of overhead crane systems.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Availability for various shifts
  • At least 3 years of experience in an industrial setting or relevant military background
  • Proficient in welding, electrical, and mechanical maintenance

Desirable Skills:

  • Background as an ironworker, millwright, or in facilities maintenance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct electrical troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and modifications of overhead crane systems
  • Execute maintenance and repair tasks at client facilities, including steel mills and automotive manufacturing sites
  • Independently diagnose electrical and mechanical issues or collaborate with a team
  • Identify necessary parts, liaise with clients and engineering teams, and carry out repairs
  • Maintain accurate documentation of hours worked, services rendered, and write service acknowledgments; proficient use of computers is required
  • Undergo training to adhere to NFPA 70E Arc Flash Protection Standards
  • Perform safety inspections in compliance with OSHA regulations

Compensation: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour

Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan. Employees can select coverage options that best suit their individual needs. Paid leave may include Sick Leave as mandated by law, and other paid leave as required by Federal, State, or local regulations, along with Holiday pay based on eligibility criteria.
