Job Summary:

The Senior Vice President - America's will lead the strategic and operational initiatives to drive organic growth and profitability across the region.

This role is responsible for overseeing Operations, Sales, HR, and Business Development, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives, and fostering an entrepreneurial culture that empowers managers and their teams.

Reporting to the CEO, the Senior Vice President will be a critical member of the executive team, contributing to the global strategic direction of our client.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute strategic plans to drive organic growth and EBITA within the North American market, ensuring alignment with global company objectives.
  2. Oversee the financial performance of the North American operations, managing P&L responsibilities to achieve financial targets and enhance profitability.
  3. Cultivate an entrepreneurial and teamwork-focused culture that empowers managers to lead their areas of expertise. Foster an environment of trust and collaboration, enabling employees to innovate and drive growth.
  4. Collaborate with department leaders to ensure processes are optimized for efficiency and scalability. Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity and cost effectiveness.
  5. Lead efforts in collaboration with the VP, Sales and VP, Business Development, to identify new opportunities and drive customer acquisition and retention. Ensure revenue targets and market growth goals are achieved.
  6. Work with HR to attract, develop, and retain top talent. Promote a high performance culture that aligns with the company's values and business goals.
  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, industry partners, and customers to support regional growth initiatives.
  8. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and provide regular updates to the CEO and executive team on regional progress.
  9. Ensure all business activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Serve as a role model by incorporating the company's Core Values and Employee Value Proposition into daily operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role with a track record of driving profitable growth and achieving P&L targets.
  • Strong understanding of the North American market and experience with successful market expansion.
  • Exceptional strategic and analytical thinking as well as problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
