RN Sepsis Stroke Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled RN Sepsis Stroke Coordinator to join our team at HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital. As a key member of our quality improvement team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that we provide high-quality, efficient care to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Collect, review, and analyze stroke outcome data to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement action plans to address identified opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Quality and Patient Safety to complete West Florida Division and Corporate reporting requirements.
- Work closely with providers, coding, and Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialists to ensure accurate documentation of patient care.
- Coordinate the Disease Specific Certification related to Stroke, maintaining the program according to Joint Commission/DNV standards and elements of performance.
Requirements
- Current Florida RN license.
- RN, BSN preferred.
- 3-5 years clinical experience, with critical care or ER experience preferred.
- Familiarity with The Joint Commission, Medicare, and State requirements.
- Extensive computer knowledge and experience required, with emphasis on EMR, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and HPF applications.
