We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our team, working closely with clients experiencing mental health crises and providing essential support and guidance.
Job SummaryThis role involves providing crisis intervention and stabilization services to adults aged 18 and older, utilizing a person-centered approach to address their unique needs and circumstances.
You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing staff, therapists, and medical professionals, to ensure seamless coordination and comprehensive care.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, focusing on empowerment and recovery-oriented strategies.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions, incorporating principles of trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing.
- Collaborate with clients, family members, and caregivers to establish realistic goals and action plans.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community resources, social services, and other stakeholders to facilitate access to necessary support.
- Document all interactions, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly, using electronic records systems.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Tennessee.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in psychiatric nursing or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and data entry software.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $62,000-$65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
