Crisis Intervention Specialist

The Helen Ross McNabb Center seeks a dedicated Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our team in Knox County, Tennessee. As a member of our crisis response team, you will play a vital role in providing critical support and resources to individuals in crisis.
Job SummaryThis position involves working as a clinical member of the EmPATH program, providing transportation services to clients, and acting as a liaison between clients and community partners. You will also be responsible for completing documentation of client care, providing crisis intervention, and supporting clients in crisis services.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- a strong commitment to the right and ability of each person with a mental illness to live and work in the community and to have access to competent and appropriate support services
- demonstrated ability to abide by professional/ethical code of conduct and to establish supportive and respectful relationships with clients
- experience working with individuals with mental illnesses preferred
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $34,812 per year (based on a 40-hour workweek), commensurate with experience and education. Additionally, we provide opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a supportive work environment.
