Key Responsibilities- Employee Relations: Resolve complex and sensitive employee relations issues by conferring with managers and providing guidance on employment policies and practices.
- HR Support: Provide day-to-day human resources support to our functional business units, applying a fundamental knowledge of human resources principles.
- Partnerships: Liaise with various human resources partners, including Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll, and Organizational Design and Training, to ensure seamless execution of HR initiatives.
- Succession Planning: Assist with the execution of human resources initiatives in support of strategic business objectives, including succession planning, high potential programs, and high-volume new hiring and onboarding.
- Consultation and Coaching: Provide consultation, guidance, and coaching to managers on areas such as employee relations, conflict resolution, performance feedback, and employment policies and practices.
- Policy Interpretation: Ensure consistent interpretation and application of employment policy and practices across the organization.
- Escalated Issues: Ensure that escalated employee relations issues are resolved effectively and with appropriate care and urgency.
- Training and Development: Facilitate training sessions for managers, associates, and other HR-related training to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle leave of absence discussions, work accommodations, workers' compensation, and desk ergonomic improvements.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Experience: Four to six years' related human resources experience, with a heavy emphasis on project management, employee relations issues, and leave of absences.
- Certifications: Human Resources Certification (PHR) and/or Senior Human Resources Certification (SPHR) preferred.
